I love this, and yass, the detours and fun breaks are what turns it 10x memorable!! Looks so fun, happy and experiential!! I’ve never been to Cherrapunji, and have saved this for then! I fondly remember my first trek with three of my internet friends to Kedarkantha trek, Uttarakhand! We four had never met, and the train journey got to be the start of a fantastic friendship! <3

That’s wonderful! I’m sure you’ll love it in North-east too. Ping me whenever you come. I hope to be able to connect you with some locals. Travel is such a great way to make new friends for sure😌

Also, thank you so much for restacking ♥️

Namrata, this was such a fun read, and believe me, that’s the best kind of travel—taking it slow and truly absorbing your surroundings. I haven’t done many hiking trips or treks yet; the closest I’ve come was a hike in Wales to see the waterfalls. But I’ve definitely added a hiking trip to my list for this year. I’ve also never been to the eastern part of India, so thank you for sharing a glimpse of it with us.

Thanks Isha. I'll surely write more about the amazing places of the east and also planning to explore more of it this year!

I've also been to very few hikes honestly. Hope to go for one soon.
