This felt so close to my heart. I am fully inspired to have a consistent morning routine now. Totally agree on the peacefulness of Goan Mornings. Keep it up, Namrata! You have a long way to go. :)
As someone who’s closely seen your early morning routine, I know how much you value the early mornings. I love how undisturbed you are and how you get lost in the tranquility of the time. Thank you for inspiring me to give myself that time which truly sets the tone for the day.Keep doing you 💜
The morning birds, their chirping and the morning writing - it’s refreshing and calms the mind. Loved that you saw the loner eagle and bulbuls the other day.
It’s cold these days in Assam - raining at night, and bit of sunshine during the day.
Loved reading about your journey in Goa and your morning rituals, Namrata!
One ritual that really resonated with me is the idea of starting the day by giving time to yourself before giving it to others. I had come across this thought somewhere before, and reading about your mornings today reminded me of it again. Thanks for sharing it here!
If anything that did change about me after moving to Goa, was that I started waking up early to hit the beach! I'm a night owl, and my hostel dorm mate was an early bird. She started tagging me along for her 6:00 am yoga session at the beach, and although initially I did was sleepwalking till the beach and sleeping on the shack beds there while she did yoga. From that to planning a sunrise, and driving all the way from Vagator to Arambol at 4:30, Goa evolved me!!
Thanks for taking me back to the good old days with this beautiful thread , Namrata!
What a lovely story Anjali! Trust me, I can completely relate to the sleepwalking as I’ve been like that in my ‘night owl’ days! 😅 I did try morning exercise and yoga but have realised I love to start my day with books and diaries instead. And as you rightly said, Goa evolved me too :)

Thank you so much! I'm sure you will love Goan mornings and might find the best of ros omelettes too. We'll catch up soon to exchange notes! :)

Missed the winter in Assam this year!
There’s always a next time. Were you here during Magh Bihu?
In Bangalore, after a trip to Coorg.

Thank you Isha. I think some me-time in the morning really sets a good tone for the day ahead.

Your mornings in Goa sound serene, similar to my mornings in the tropics in Queensland. I know from experience how superb early mornings in Goa are.
Cheers to beautiful mornings! ♥️
I love my mornings! Although, the scenery, quite the opposite, with a couple of feet of fresh snow, is beautified by a brilliant sun this a.m.
Wow! Sounds beautiful with the snow!
Thank you Lavina for the restack! 😊
